Economy Basic
The Economy Basic fare is available on selected European routes for travel starting 19 May 2026. It is designed for price‑conscious travelers who travel with limited baggage and do not require flexibility. It includes one personal item only (max. 40 × 30 × 15 cm), such as a laptop bag or a small backpack – ideal for day trips or short business journeys.
The Economy Basic fare is non‑rebookable and non‑refundable. Optional ancillary services such as carry‑on baggage (max. 8 kg), checked baggage or advance seat reservation can be added for a fee.
The Economy Basic fare is available exclusively through direct distribution channels – via NDC (Lufthansa Group Airlines Direct NDC API, SPRK, or aggregators) and the websites of the Lufthansa Group airlines.
Economy Light
The Economy Light fare includes everything travelers need for a short trip: one carry‑on bag (max. 8 kg) and one personal item (max. 40 × 30 × 15 cm).
The Economy Light fare is non‑refundable, but can be rebooked for a fee (€100) if travel plans change.
Additional ancillary services such as checked baggage or advance seat reservation can be added for a fee. Without an advanced seat reservation, a seat will be automatically assigned during check‑in and can be changed for a fee if desired.
The Economy Light fare is available exclusively through direct distribution channels – via NDC (Lufthansa Group Airlines Direct NDC API, SPRK, or aggregators) and the websites of the Lufthansa Group airlines.
Economy Comfort
The Economy Comfort fare includes one piece of checked baggage (max. 23 kg), one carry‑on bag (max. 8 kg) and one personal item (max. 40 × 30 × 15 cm), making it ideal for family holidays or business travelers who require checked baggage.
The fare is non‑refundable, but can be rebooked for a fee (€80).
Additional ancillary services such as advance seat reservation can be added for a fee. At check‑in, passengers may select one of the available Classic Seats at no additional charge.
The Economy Comfort fare is available in all distribution channels.
Economy Comfort Green
By selecting the Economy Comfort Green fare travelers are contributing to saving future CO₂ emissions. This contribution corresponds to the use of sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs) amounting to 20% of estimated individual flight-related CO₂ emissions as well as a contribution to high-quality climate protection projects covering an estimated 80% of individual flight-related CO₂ emissions.

It is non‑refundable, but can be rebooked for a fee (€80).

Travel plans can change – and that’s exactly what the Economy Flex fare is designed for. It includes one piece of checked baggage (max. 23 kg), one carry‑on bag (max. 8 kg), one personal item, a Classic Seat reservation, and Priority Boarding.
The fare is rebookable free of charge and refundable for a fee (€150). An earlier flight on the same day is also possible, subject to availability.
The Economy Flex fare is available in all distribution channels.
